BIT version is software version level, usually the level higher, the harder to unlock !
Only the Firmwares (Bootloader, Kernel, Recovery, System, Modem, CSC, PDA, CP,...) have same level or higher than current phone software version can be flash (install) to the phone !
Check the software version (Build number or Baseband version) to determine the BIT version (software level) !
For example:
G975USQU2ASG8 > BIT 2 (Level 2)
G975USQS1ASDA > BIT 1 (Level 1)
G960USQS7CSK4 > BIT 7 (Level 7)
G960USQS6CSH3 > BIT 6 (Level 6)
N960USQS3CSK2 > BIT 3 (Level 3)
